Hi All,


Where the last successful and unsuccessful login attempts stored in Linux? I have somuchto do with this ... pls help me?

And one more thing----------If that last attemts should be displayed whenever a user logs in, what are the settings to be modiidfied?

They should be stored in your /var/log/secure file. You'll need to be root to read it.

Code:
cat /var/log/secure | grep failed | less
