kudzu Keeps Timing Out

I am running Fedora Core 3, and I recently installed a new motherboard. Kudzu asks me if I want to remove the configurations for my old hardware and configure my new hardware. Of course, I go through the process, but kudzu always "time outs" or quits about thirty seconds into the process. It then goes to the text based boot screen, where it just hangs. Can I increase the timeout on kudzu or run it from a console or something?

Well, i was never able to solve the timeout problem. so, I logged into fc3 and opened a terminal window as SU. I then browsed to /usr/sbin and typed in ./kudzu, then typed in kudzu. Kudzu ran fine from here. I removed my old hardware and configured my new hardware.
