Ktorrent - Transfer partial downloads to another PC for downloading???

Hello,

Just out of curiosity, I have ktorrent running and is in the middle of 2 very big downloads (roughly 5-10 days left to download).

Problem is my hard drive is about to crap out on me, I was wondering if it is possible to transfer these 2 partial downloads to another machine running ktorrent for that machine to continue the download while i replace the hard drive in the failing machine???

Or, am i SOL, and will have to start all over again??

And, if this is possible, is it also possible to have 2 machines running ktorrent to share a download burden??

Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I know, you will have to start again And I do not think the second option is supported.

It is possible

1. transfer the folder with partial downloads
and cancel those downloads
2. Change the download location settings in ktorrent
3. get same torrent file

it will check data and then continue
