Kopete problems (font + away messages)

Hi all,

I'm using SuSE Pro 9.1. It's wubbably glorious... this is the first Linux distro that I'm considering using on a regular basis.

That said, I've been using Kopete 0.9.0 as a messenger; I much prefer it to GaIM. But a couple things stymie me:

1) I can't figure out how to set the font of the messages I send. There is a nice dialog in the Kopete Config but it seems to do nothing.

2) The Kopete manual references an away message panel where I can create predefined away messages. This panel is nowhere to be found, and messages I create don't show up upon restart of Kopete.

Thanks for any help! Maybe there's just an updated package I need?

Seth
