konqueror problem

I went to settings > configure konqueror > filemanager > appearance and set my text color as white. I then went to view > background color and set my background as black. Whenever I rename a file the text color always goes black and I can't see anything. Ahhh! Is this a bug or is there a special setting for renaming text color? I'm using suse 8.1 and konqueror 3.0.4.
