Kmenu: alphabetical order?

I'm wondering if could be possible to set the kmenu (not kickoff, the dear old kmenu) to add the icons of the new softwares in alphabetical order.
I think yes, because my father's one can, but mine can't!

do you mean the sub menus or everything?

either way, i don't think that there is an option to do that, but my menu does that anyway, like the subdirectories are alphabetized first, then the items.

good luck,

btw, did you know that the alphabet was named after the first 2 Greek letters; alpha and beta? pretty cool, huh?

After some formatting and installing again kubuntu (yes, today is raining and I got a lot of free time) I found the problem:
My kmenu will stop ordering the softwares if an icon is created by kmenuedit, but I need to do so and I'm going to order myself kmenu.
