KInternet works, browsers don't.

I've just loaded Open SuSE 10.3 on a laptop which was running SuSE 9.3 Professional with no snags. I set up the internet connection but although KInternet shows a connected icon after starting, Firefox, Konqueror and Opera all report being unable to find any servers. The same thing happens when trying to connect to the Novell or the SuSE update site. Someone please help.

Sorted it. Enabling "modify DNS when connected" in the modem settings cleared it up. Oops.
