Keep The MAIL Server Running!

Hi,

I have a problem with my mail server wich fails and stops running.
This ocures every few days. I cannot find a shell script that would
chech if the mial server or some other process is running, and if not,
execute the mail server again.

If someone can provide me the script I would be very thankful.

All The Best

You could run a script as a cron job but you need to figure out why your mail server is dying. It should not be crashing. I've had daemons like sendmail running for months with no crash.
