I would have posted this in the kdevelop site. But I keep on getting this error:

Anyway, I'm new to kdevelop and am trying to familiarize myself with the ide. How do I create a custom project in kdevelop? I want to make a c++/gtkmm application. Under new project, there is a c++ > gtk+ option. But if I choose this, kdevelop automatically generates too much files for autoconf/automake which I do not want. My application is fairly simple. I don't need this much flexibility. I want to make my own makefile and no more configure scripts and friends. Why is there no generic c++ project option under new project > all projects??

Another question, how do you add linker flags? I want to add `pkg-config gtkmm-2.4 --libs` when it links. I was able to add compiler flags in the project options in the left panel. But was unable to do the same for the linker. The documentation isn't really very helpful =(.
