kde relative desktop position

I was wondering if there is a tool that allows the user to change the relative position of desktops in KDE

I'll explain:

if you activate the option to switch desktop when moving the mouse to the edge of the desktop, and when running the virtual desktops applet in the taskbar, desktop positions are as follow (example for 6 desktops):

1 2 3 1 2 ...
4 5 6 4 5 ...
1 2 3 1 2 ...

and so on.

if you remove the applet and restart kde, desktop are placed like this

1 3 5 1 3 ...
2 4 6 2 4 ...
1 3 5 1 3 ...

Ideally, I would like to be able to change the positions, as if the desktop were on a cube for example, like this

sounds like something interesting, though confusing to navigate...

--you roll off the left of desktop one, and so you figgure you roll off the right of desktop two to get back... wrong! the top! how crazy!!

well actually I realised my drawing is wrong.

well... you roughly got the idea anyway.

if you think of it as placing the desktops on a cube, it's not that confusing (or is it?)
