KDE Mail won't check mail

Hello,

Searched and found no info.

At times, when I click check mail in KDE, it does not respond at all. Sometimes the fix is to close the program and restart it, but more often, I have to restart rh 8.0.

Is there a command line I could use to restart KDE mail or another fix?

The command would be kmail

Run it from the command line and
check ~/.xsession-errors afterwards..

Thanks, Here is what I did:

[root@localhost root]# kmail
DCOPServer up and running.
[root@localhost root]# check ~/.xsession-errors
-bash: check: command not found
[root@localhost root]# kmail
[root@localhost root]# kdeinit: Fatal IO error: client killed
kdeinit: sending SIGHUP to children.
kdeinit: sending SIGTERM to children.
kdeinit: Exit.
Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy

Sorry for that one, I didn't think you'd
assume check to be a command ...

Try
less ~/.xsession-errors

when I typed the above command I got:

SESSION_MANAGER=local/localhost.localdomain:/tmp/.ICE-unix/2410
Loaded background '0x80a9830
