Kate Template Error: "Please Set Your Identity"

After working long and hard on GNU Emacs and Vim, and then giving SciTE a try, I'm checking out Kate (that is, the K Advanced Text Editor). But unfortunately I'm having an annoyance (a bit of a problem, though not crippling) with the template plugin. Whenever I go to create a new template, it warns me: "The template needs information about you, please set your identity in your addressbook." What does this mean? I've edited my user information through the Control Center, and added an entry for myself in the address book. Is this just a bug, or has somebody found a solution to this nuisance? As always, thanks for any help.

Solved the problem. I found the answer by searching the index of the KDE kwrite-devel mailing list. Turns out you have to select your entry in the address book, then click the Edit menu and pick "Set as Personal Contact Data."
