Karamba themes are invisible

Hi everyone, here's my problem:

I just downloaded and installed the latest SuperKaramba (v33 I believe). It had no problem installing and I can access the program just fine. However, when I try to launch most themes they are not visible on my desktop. If I click around on the desktop I can get a pull down menu for the configuration file. I can even move the invisible box (where the theme should be) around on my desktop. I've read a lot about required Python files, have installed a few, but none have solved my problem so far. There are so many Python related files out there I'm not sure which ones I should get anyway. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate the help!

In case it helps, I'm using KDE 1.3 with SuSE 9.0

Thanks for the help,
-Glu

hello
try to use some basic themes from karamba's web site, i had the same problem using some themes. and, when you can get the pull down menu for configuration, use the "unlock" option to pull the theme into visible area. next, you may have to edit the configuration file to load at particular point of your desktop.

Thanks for your advise. Unfortunately I gave it a shot and it still didn't work. Some themes do work, the simple ones, like you said. I'm trying to get the Liquid Weather theme to work. I tried to disable my wallpaper image and just use a white screen to see if it was behind the wallpaper. When I did this I got a box to come up, but the image inside it was highly distorted. This leads me to believe that I'm missing some sort of required file or setting that allows the theme to be displayed properly.

I was told by one of the theme builders at KDE-LOOK that SUSE's version of Python is 'buggy'.

I'm having the same problem and haven't been able to locate a patch or fix as of yet
