k3b cannot copy a cd

hi
i use suse 8.2 and really appreciate the app K3B-it's really good. BUT, it cannot copy a cd. it shows my samsung cd-player in configuration as "Source Drive" but when i open the cd-2-cd copy dialog, in the combo-dropdown list there is nothing but my sonycd-writer as "Source Drive"!! how can a single drive can source and destination -- this is really stupid.
i need someone's help please....

no its not stupid as this is how k3b does it...
you have to put the source cd into the burner FIRST it will then copy an image of the cd to a temp directory as an iso file, and then it will prompt you to insert the destination cd (the blank one

) SECOND and you will press ok and it will burn the image of the first cd to the second one giving you a copy of the first one in the end
