JVM Problem with Mozilla 1.6

Hi,
I compiled j2sdk1.4.2_04 from source and installed it in /home/myName/j2sdk1.4.2_04. and then i went inside of it and in to the plugins folder, then copied the libjavaplugin_oji.so from there into /home/myName/.mozilla/plugins/ . Now when i run Mozilla and go to About Plugins, it lists all the Java plugins correctly. and it says to use Java for all of them, but when i actually go to a site that need JVM my mozilla just closes automatically . how can i fix this problem?

thanks a lot in advance
