GiveItAShot LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2003 Posts: 18 Rep:	JRE Install Downloaded JRE to my windows XP laptop, burnt a CD with the .tar file. Not sure how to copy it from the CD to my Linux machine. I did - mount /cdrom DIR Shows lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root DD/MM/TT /cdrom-> /media/cdrom Also Tried - mount /cdrom/file "Can't find" Any suggestions? Is this saying that media is a DIR under the root of the cdrom? Thanks
