Joystick in RH8... HELP!
I have been trying to get the joystick to work in my RH8 machine so I can use it for the XMMS Joystick Control.
I have a 2-axis, 6-button Gamepad (MakoPad PC) and a Thrustmaster Gamecard and Ensoniq Soundcard.
I found the joystick text file and it suggests that I recompile the kernel with the joystick modules included, which I have no idea how to do. It says I can also include the modules.
I tried the jstest /dev/js0 command and it says the device doesn't exist, even though the dev directory has the js0 - js3 entries in it.

I tried adding the two lines ( /sbin/modprobe joydev and /sbin/modprobe interact ) to the rc.local file and no luck. The joystick device doesn't exist.
