Hi
I was trying to use 32 installation of Shaddow Warrior on my Debian (64 bit).
I installed file "jfsw-2005.10.09-2.i386.deb".
This worked, however when I tried to run the game I got this error:
Code:
/usr/games/jfsw
./sw: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
of course I have it.
Command "locate libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0" gives me:
Code:
/usr/lib/libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0
/usr/lib/libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0.2.6
I understand that program is trying to use/find 32 version of the library.
I found many advises like:
http://blog.saltriversystems.com/200...64-bit-ubuntu/
...but nothing worked.
...hmmm
why libSDL_mixer is not in ia32 library package?
Finally I did following trick:
I found "ia32-libs-sdl_1.0ubuntu3_amd64.deb" file in the Internet
extracted file "libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0.2.4"
Renamed it to "libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0"
Copied to /usr/lib32
...that worked! ;-)
as next "libsmpeg-0.4.so.0" was missing so I did similar trick from
"libsmpeg0_0.4.5+cvs20030824-4_i386.deb"
maybe this information will helpful for somebody
(cause the description I placed on my page is quite old :

cheers
