Question Java not working


I can not get java to install a saw on a site that i need to upgrade kernel to get it to work if i do where can i get that for SuSE 8.2, or is there a way to do it without upgrading the kernel know its 2.4 but thats all i know

Why don't you give more info about the java installation file and why is it not installing. If you have down loaded the file from sun or blackdown, it will be easy to install. Give more specifics about the error to sort out the problem. And I don't think you need a kernel upgrade to make java work.
