is there a program to make picture cd

you know those cd's I think they are kodack picture-cd's that you can get with your prints at the 1hr. photo. I was wandering if there was a way to make them on my linux box because i have seen a program for windows that does this. will i be able to do this from xcdroast or somthing so i can view my pics in my dvd player

Konqueror has something which you may be interested in.
Tools / Create Image Gallery...
You run that from within your image directory and it makes a sub-directory called Thumbs. It also makes an Images.html file which allows you to view the thumbs. If you click on one it automatically expands to a regular picture.
After you run that program, it's a simple matter to create the iso image and burn it to cdrom.
