Is there a Playlist HTML Generator in XMMS like Winamp?

Hi,

I am recording audio tapes into MP3s and burning them on CDs and creating a file called "Description.html" which will just show the titles of the MP3 files in the CD. I usually generate this HTML File in Winamp which just outputs the Playlist as a HTML File.

Now I am using Audacity in Linux to record and using XMMS to create the playlist. Is there any tool or plugin to convert the playlist into a nice HTML TOC file in XMMS similar to the feature in Winamp?

Something like this, maybe? :)

Alternatively you can probably write an almost
trivial perl-script that parses the playlist file that
you create using xmms ... If you want to incorporate
#EXTINF a pattern with look-behind may do the
trick for you ...

Cheers,
Tink

Thanks TInkster. I took a lot at that website. I am not even looking for something as complicated as that with HTML forms and all.

I just wanted a simple HTML generator that would output the ID3 tags: artist, title, length of clip and also total time of the whole playlist at the end.

I don't know perl, so I guess I can create a simple terminal program to do this using C++ instead.

Good project. Thanks for the idea
