So your problem is with Java?

Have you tried adding a non-free repository like livna and just yum install it? Fedora come with IcedTea/OpenJDK by default, but performance suck, even if it work with Frostwire. But using sun-java and the "java-config" command line to turn it on work on Fedora with little to no effort for me.

I think you'd be better off getting gtk-gnutella to work. Are you connected to any peers?
