Is Sunone 4.0, Apache 1.3.27 support to Suse 11.1


Hi,
I have install Suse 11.1 newest version.I have doubt "will Sunone 4.0.3 and Apache 1.3.27 support to Suse 11.1".
Please any one can help me for the same.

Hi alokjain,

I guess you mean the Sun Java System Active Server Pages 4.0.3.
According to the Release notes it works on RHEL 3 and 4, so I don't think it's going to work on Suse 11.1, because it's a package precompiled for this particular linux distro. Suse 11.1 is the latest version, so its core libraries are newer than RHEL 3/4. But you can give it a try and see if it installs.
If there is no specific reason to use Suse, you can use Centos 4 that is the free version of RHEL 4
For apache I don't think there will be any problem and you can use the latest 1.3.41 instead of 1.3.31 of the Release notes.
