If you insert the DVD you will find a lot of rpm files on it - that's where the software packets
are in. YaST is in some of them, just click such a file in KDE, and it should come up with an
installation menu, provided this doesn't use YaST. If it does, you're stuck with the command
line, I believe it's something like rpm -uvF mypacket.rpm. I doubt however that this will solve
your problem. You should rather downgrade the packet(s) you have updated.
