iptables log

Hey All,

I'm familiar enough with iptables to setup my own firewall. With that being said, I have some rules setup to LOG the activity.

Can I specify the logfile, or is it written to /var/adm/messages or something of that nature?

TIA

Depends on what kind of logging facility you (your distro)
uses, I suppose ...

In slacks defaults it would end up in /var/log/syslog

Cheers,
Tink
