Iphone syncing and updating apps


How can I update apps and use itunes on Linux? I've heard of Wine, can someone explain this?

Well, wine is way to make windows programs work on Linux but from what I've heard it doesn't work with iTunes for some reason the only way that I've seen is to use crossover but I haven't actually done it so I am not sure, you can always virtual box a windows machine and that will work but probably isn't worth it if you're just trying to get iTunes... you can always try sharepod but I don't know if that works with applications
