Insufficient Software Channels to register Redhat Linux

Hello all,

I have just installed Redhat 9 on a samsung R40 laptop. Everything seems ok, except that whenever I try to update my OS, it comes up with error class code 70, which is insufficient software channel entitlements to provide access to cid63 Redhat Linux 9 i386.

I am new to Linux. Can anybody help please?

That is because Red Hat stopped supporting Red hat Linux 9 over three years ago. As a suggestion get a modern supported version of Linux, if staying with the Red Hat family try CentOS, Fedora, Scientific Linux or any of the other versions of linux based on Red Hat;
