Installing Quake

I'm trying to install Quake on my computer . I've been able to satisfy the dependency for svga libs, but I need to satisfy a dep. for libglide2x.so. Can I do this by making a symlink called libglide2x.so that points to a GLlib? I'm running MDK 8.2 on a 1.2GHz. computer with scads 'o ram and a 64MB Nvidia GeForce2 MX400 vid. card

K... I figgered it out I was able to install it by running the cpio script instead of setup. Setup choked when it could'nt find drivers for a VooDoo card. I won't be able to run the GL version, but the .x11
is just fine for the original version (I played it wondows in the past and just had to have a linux version)..
