the simplest way to install php on fedora core 3 would probably be to just go to the command line and type

Code:
yum install php
the only thing is that that will probably install the latest version of php 4 (whatever that is)

i would reccomand using php 4 for full compatibility. ther are alot of scripts that won't work with 5

if you want to install php 5, download and untar the source, then

Code:
# cd /path to untarred folder
# ./configure
# make
# make install
