Installing Lucid Lynx/Ubuntu on partitioned PC

I've installed Ubuntu many times, but the newest version using GRUB 2, and there have been problems with how it stores the boot info I've heard.

I want to install it on my PC which has Vista and Ubuntu already on it. If I install over my current Ubuntu partition, will there be any boot problems? Will I still be able to go into Vista?

If anyone has any info to offer please let me know. Thank you.
