i'm new to linux, i'm using fedora core 3 and i got a problem.
i want to install java sdk so i went to sun.java.com and downloaded self-extracting file (j2sdk-1_3_1_15-linux-i586.bin, 25.42 MB). than i followed their installation instructions and everything was fine. the trouble is that the last step is to accept licence agreement, suposedly you can do this by clicking on accept button but i don't see any accept button.
those files have extension .bin and the program i use to open them is emacs. could anyone provide me the screenshot of this button or a detailed description where to find it.
just an addition to what uman said. after you run the executable, you will be prompted to accept/decline the agreement. once the install is complete, you have to modify your PATH found in your $HOME directory; the file should be called '.bash_profile' in Fedora Core 3. hope this helps!
You can edit your PATH variable through /etc/profile, just you
need root access to do that, and it affects every user. Just add this at the bottom of /etc/profile-

NOTE:
If you have the Java JRE installed somewhere unusual (or not in your PATH),
use the JAVA_PROGRAM_DIR option in the script.
