Installing FC4 on a Mac G4 (trying to anyways)

First of all, I'll confess I know virtually nothing about Macs. Although I always thought they were cool, I never had the $ to spend on buying one (college student, so you know how that goes). Well yesterday I had the really neat opputunity of being able to buy four Power Mac G4s and a G3 iMac for $25 a piece. I couldn't turn it down =) (besides, they're for a linux network at my church so its for a good cause)

So the problem I'm having is this: I am trying to install Fedora core 4 on them, the install process goes just fine, but when after the system reboots all I get is a smiling mac and a question mark. The computers I have had the harddrives wiped, so I'm starting with no OS on the system (and I don't have any copies of a Mac OS laying around). I can't find anything on the web that has helped much, all I've found assumes you already have a working Mac OS on your computer.

So what do I do to get the computer to be able to boot FC4 after installing it?

A short addition:

I've heard good things about using Yellow Dog on Macs, but I would like to stick with Fedora Core, as that is what we are using on the rest of the network here.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
