Installed Ventrilo Fine What Next?

Hey all

I have installed ventrilo on my home server

But after this i dunno what to do i dont know how to make a user or make a admin or how to make a channel i would find it easier once i made a server admin i think i just dont know how to do it.

Has anyone ever set 1 up and know what 2 do next. hope you can help me thank you.

You've probably got bored waiting so long for a response but I'll do it for the sake of anyone else searching the forum.

First, read the manual. :-)

Second, set admin password & username in the conf file as per manual. Set user name & pw whilst you're here.

Log in to Vent using a windows client or Wine emulator and right click the white space to setup rooms etc.

I used to regularly have a dozen people connected with no worries on a 1M/256K link but it did slow my games down ;-).
