Question Installation wont have me change cds therefore i just get the OS no programs

I can install mandrake but when i run it im missing alot of apps i tried installing them but i cant even run rpms or java apps i need to make my pc ask me for cd 2 cd3 so on it wont get of one but works...

WHat should i do please help i get basic software but i need it all can it be because the pc is old
