Installation of Gnome from source under KDE

I'm looking for a wiki or walkthrough (or any information for that matter) on how to compile and install Gnome from source under KDE. I'm currently running Backtrack 2 (Slackware 11.0).

if I were to start building GNOME from scratch, I would start but reading Some of the files in the GARNOME utility... particularly the DEPS-LIST file.

I would also look for information on how Dropline, Freerock, and GWARE GNOME are built.

The fact that you're running KDE shouldn't make a difference.
