install kwrite/kate without kde wm?


is that possible?
running fedora core release 1 using gnome wm. kde is not installed.

if so, where & what to download for installation?

I think you would need to install kde base. I am just guessing on this. What can kwite do the gedit can not?

I believe you need to download and isntall kdebase and kdelibs. I have 0 experience with gnome, however: I run kwrite (and konqueror) fine in plain fluxbox without starting kde or any other kde things.
