So, is there anyway to install Bourne shell in ubuntu?
How can we bring Bourne shell to ubuntu?
which Linux distro uses Bourne shell.? Is there anyway to use it via VirtualBox?

@hd_pulse: Look at the date on the post you're replying to. That was ~7 years ago. Next time start a new thread, please.

As for your question, read the bash(1) manpages:
Quote:
If bash is invoked with the name sh, it tries to mimic the startup
behavior of historical versions of sh as closely as possible, while
conforming to the POSIX standard as well.

I took the liberty to split the necropost off the corpse into
a thread of its own.

Cheers,
