Install Atheros AR9285 driver on BackTrack 5

Using BackTrack 5 with WMware Player on Windows 7, I need step by step instructions how to download and install wireless driver with console commands from BackTrack.
My card is capable for injection, but i don't know how to enable driver. I have basic linux knowledge. Please help!

Honestly, for what you want to do, you are better off dual booting linux and windows.

I would still need that commands with dual boot.
Example:
"Enter shell console and to download your driver type [command...]"
"Install driver by typing [command...]"

You miss a point here. If you are running Backtrack in a VM (virtual machine), like VMware Player, it will not see the wireless device, regardless if you have a driver for it or not. It will only see a virtual wired ethernet device. That is the point of a virtual machine, running an OS on virtual hardware, not your physical hardware. If you want to make your hardware available to Backtrack you have to run it natively, not virtualized.

Having that said, even if you get it running, if you need that kind of advice I would assume that Backtrack is not the right distro for you. May be it would be better to first learn your basics before playing with the tools for experts.

+10......

And for the record, I'm not sure if anyone saw the sarcasm in my last post or not? Well, just to put it out there, it's there, you just have to look harder.
