I assume you mean a SYSTEM image, and not a picture like a jpeg right?
If it's **URGENT** you could have searched on this very site, as this question has been asked and answered numerous times. Mkcdrec, mondoarchive, and systemimager can all do it. Google could have told you this too.
You don't give any details about what you want to do, or what version/distro of Linux you're using. Without asking a good question, you won't get good answers.
