image converter

Hey,

We have a cd-server that automatically compresses a CD in to an image but doesn't tell us what type it is. It just names it "redhat9" if we put redhat9 in the CD-ROM. Well Magic ISO for windows can convert it to ISO but they have the option to convert "Any format" so I still don't know what type it is. Is it possible to find out what the file type is so I can find a converter for linux.

Does the command 'file <filename>' under linux say anything useful?

Regards,

zakaluka.
