i am tired with installing R.H.L & win xp

hello
i have installed red hat linux 7.1 on my pc but now i can,t so i test my pc on another one working
good and by changing hardware one by one and the result was that the problem is in mother board
( it is gigabyte 815 ep ) and the same thing happened with win xp proffessional ( i succeeded
in istalling these two OS since 6 monthes ) but now i can,t although i update the bios to the
latest version , i am very sad because i do the same stages in installing these two OS as i made
them in the last time i have installed them and the problem is in copying packages :
- in RHL 7.1 : the system restart by itself before ending copying files
- in win xp : after copying files the system hangs
note : installing win 98 & win me is good and they work good with me now .
thanx

Sounds like media problems then. If you are getting 2 other OS's to install, check your media. Check your ROM drive, check the discs. And check the HD (although, again, if you are getting 2 others installed...). Run a program called memtest86:
www.memtest86.org

This will test your RAM to find out if it's bad.

Cool
