HP4500 All in One Deskjet scanner driver


I have setup HP 4500 and everything wors except the scan function. The software that came with the printer was for Windowns OS. Can I download a version for Linux Mint 13 that will permit me to use all printer functions?

the scan function is call Xsane, Sane & SimpleScan it maybe listed under graphics.
