howto gentoo ppc64 java win32codecs

Hi,

How do I play java or play movies (dvd's) under linux ? I tried getting those from IBM, but i can't seem to get the downloading starting, there's allways something in my profile that won't let me download.

And how about dvd movies, which codecs should i get if win32codecs weren't made for ppc ?

Thanks in advance,

Puntjuh.
