how to turn OFF syntax highlights when printing?

I am using apsfilter to setup a hp dj 855cse. I am using an espgs hpdj filter with it.

For some reason, when I print source code, it wants to do all kind of coloring and highlighting (greyscale uses italics&highlighting)

Does anybody know how to turn this off?

Yeah, I guess apsfilter uses a2ps, which formats it all. It does the highlighting stuff even if it's in grey b/c of the --highlight-level=heavy that apsfilter defaults to.

Now, I can print lines 1-60 on page 1, but page 2 will start on pg. 63

I'm using the papersize 'Letterdj', on 8.5x11'' paper.

I've tried using '--rows=60' and some others, but can't get anything to work.

Has anybody seen this before?

I changed to the 'pcl3/hpdj855c' driver and changed the default number of virtual pages per sheet for a2ps (/etc/a2ps.cfg) to 1, rather than two.

It all seems to be working well now.
