How to run Whatsapp x86_64 application on Linux/Devuan/Debian (...) ?


Hello,

Can Whatsapp run well on linux, using Wine?

A different answer from what you are asking.

You can run WhatsApp from your browser if you have the application installed on your mobile phone. You only need to scan a code from within the phone application. See screenshot.

There is also a Flatpak and Snap of it as well floating around out there. Not sure about AppImage.

the web browser is sluggish, and super slow

If you were running Mint, there's a WhatsApp App in the repository which works just like Debian6toll, (post #2), mentions.

Try Ferdium. Works natively in Linux, no need Wine.

Works good. Couple of times it has stopped to work, but then installing new version and Whatsup is working again.
