How to recompile Kernal to include new drivers
HI Folks, I have been to all kinds of forums looking for help or someone that
can help me re compile a Locustworld meshAp linux based kernel to include new
drivers for some new radio cards I have just purchased. The new radios I have
are supported in the latest version of madwifi 0.9.3 and I wish to install these
drivers in our mesh box's containing linux based locustworld. The radios are
Atheros based Ubiquiti XR2 600mw mini-pci cards. LW has updated there atheros
drivers in the past with madwifi drivers, so I know it can be done. LW has
available on there site the actual source of the mesh to be used to re build the
kernel. I just have ZERO knowledge of linux.
I feel this is finally the site that can help me out. I believe I have all the
tools necessary to do this with the help of you fine folks. BTW I believe the
kernel is 2.4.20

Chris
IM NOT trying to hire someone, I mentioned in my previously closed thread that I could offer cash if necessary or needed!! I dont think that means if looking to hire, only if it comes down to it. In the mean time, Im looking to get help on how to learn to do it myself. Is this not what these forums are for? I own a couple large satellite forums and im trying not to be a forum noob here. lol
Can anyone help me in my issue, any positive helpfull input would be appreciated.
