How to install java 6 in etch?

Ubuntu has this page (http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_E...owser_Plug-ins) of instructions that includes an explanation on how to install java 6 from sun.

Is there a counter part to this for debian? I'm specifically interested in using eclipse to write java 6 code (which, of course, requires one to have installed java 6).

I have done some google searching and I have tried "apt-get install java-package" (as the results of one google search suggested) but this did not work.

Thanks,
Siegfried

I'd do # aptitude install sun-java6-jdk
