How to install GLIBC in Redhat Linux 7.3


Hi everybody, I am new to Linux

I want to install SDL in Redhat Linux 7.3 ,i have downloaded SDL rpm from the SDL website but when i run it says SDL dependencies problem

SDL needed
lib.so.6(GLIBC_2.3)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.4)
libthread.so.)(GLIBC_2.3.2)

I have searched net i have downloaded GLIBC from rpmdownload website but when i tried to install it is crashing. how to solve this problem.

Save yourself and us the headaches and get a current OS. Support for RH7.3 was dropped years ago. Very few people will remember any details about an os that old. If you install a current OS (Centos 5 for example). People will have current experience and you will also have updates available.
