Smile How to install applications with WINE

Hi there. Few months ago I installed Linux Ubuntu version. Right now that is the only thing that I have on my laptop, no windows OPs. My question is how do I install photoshop and illustrator through Wine? I tried everything but I was not able to do it. I searched forums here but I couldn't find step by step for installation. Thank you very much.

I see two how-tos on Google explaining how to install Photoshop in wine.

Have you tried these?

Here is this if it helps

Wine still does not work perfectly. Trying to get windoze apps to work can be a challenge sometimes. Good luck.

First (if Photoshop is on a cd) mount the cd, cd to the directory and just type 'wine setup.exe' if setup.exe is the name of the setup program.

If you are using kde then you will probably find that you have a wine/photoshop shortcut in the kicker menu to click on. If not then you may need use command like 'wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Adobe/(Photoshop version)'. If it works then edit your desktop managers menu with the command.
