How to import fonts from XP CD

Hi,

I'm using Mandriva 2008.1 and own a copy of XP on CD. After my windows drive crashed I decided to try Linux. I've got it running pretty good but am missing some of my windows fonts. Is there a way to get them off of the CD and into Linux without installing Windows? I guess the main thing is that I have no idea where the fonts are on the CD.

most of the time you can just copy the .ttf ( fonts) to your fonts folder
-- OR --
install the "liberation fonts "

some googling for
cabextract ( to open the MS .cab files )
http://linux.die.net/man/1/cabextract
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/se...ery=cabextract
fonts
